A Note From Lee

I'm running for Town Council because I love Chapel Hill and want to help build a better community for all of our residents. Through my advocacy work I have brought diverse stakeholders together, building coalitions to solve problems. Chapel Hill is at a crossroads, and the decisions we make now will impact our town for years to come. We need to engage residents in their communities to make sure that all perspectives are heard and then come together to achieve our common goals.

I am a Chapel Hill resident and UNC alum with a degree in political science and dramatic arts. Currently, I am the Managing Director of the NC Alliance for Health, a coalition that advocates for policies that promote wellness and reduce the impact of tobacco and obesity in our state.

My campaign is about understanding the wide array of interests in our town and identifying a way to move forward on the important issues that face us. As part of that effort, I want to hear what you want for Chapel Hill's future.

Over the next few months I'll be knocking on doors, making phone calls and holding meetings across our town so I can better understand what our community wants and needs. Below are the dates for upcoming community conversations. I hope you’ll join me!

Foster's Market - October 21, 5pm
